Documentation KB

The Documentation KB settings choose documentation types for search, manage synchronization, and review company mappings. They appear on your documentation provider’s page under Setup → Configuration → Integrations once IT Glue or Hudu is connected. Labels adapt to Hudu or IT Glue.

  1. Review the available asset or documentation types.
  2. For each row, inspect its field count, Password fields (skipped) count, Last toggled value, and indexed setting.
  3. Turn on the types you want included, or turn off types you want excluded. Each type is opt-in.

With IT Glue, password fields are always excluded. Knowledge base articles are ingested independently and do not require an asset-type toggle.

  1. Select Start Sync.
  2. Monitor the displayed progress and status, including indexed, skipped, and failed counts when available.
  3. If needed, select Stop Sync while the sync is active and review the displayed outcome.

The Hudu Company Mappings or IT Glue Company Mappings table associates documentation companies or organizations with PSA Company records. Unmapped content is skipped during sync.

  1. Use the filter to find an organization or company.
  2. Review its current PSA Company and mapping badge.
  3. Select a PSA Company to set a manual mapping. The selection is saved for that row.
  4. To remove a manual override, use Clear manual mapping, then review the resulting mapping shown in the table.
Badge Meaning
Manual An explicitly selected PSA Company.
Hudu integration or IT Glue PSA sync A mapping obtained from the connected documentation provider.
Name match A mapping found from an exact company name match.
Unmapped No PSA Company has been associated; that content is skipped.

Manual mappings override automatic matches. With HaloPSA and IT Glue, use the manual or name-match options shown by the connection page.
